VARSOL SUSHI BAR TO CELEBRATE TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY Saturday, February 3rd, 2024
It has been almost two years since Varsol Sushi Bar opened its doors and burst onto the culinary scene in Coconut Grove. Located on Main Highway, this sushi spot has quickly become a hotspot for vibrant dining in the city, not to mention a favorite of local celebrities including Camila Cabello, Alex Rodriguez and Romain Grosjean, to name a few. On Saturday, February 3rd, Varsol will host a celebration featuring an array of specials throughout the day including two dollar sake shots and two dollar nigiri sushi plus gift card giveaways and a DJ spinning live music beginning at 5pm until close.

Known as the original Coconut Grove sushi bar, Varsol, formerly Varsol by Akashi, balances traditional Japanese roots with Miami influences into an expansive menu. Offering premium nigiri and sashimi alongside menu items with seasonal ingredients and a curated selection of sake, Japanese beer, crafted cocktails and wine, Varsol redefines sushi dining by blending centuries-old craftsmanship in a convivial setting.
Since its opening in 2022, a selection of new dishes have been added to the menu. Akashi loyalists will be delighted to find classics such as Alex #2 and Tara’s Tuna on the menu as well. With over 25 years of experience, Varsol was honored to team up with such a Miami staple for the opening nearly two years ago; and continues to pay homage to the Akashi brand with several rolls locals have come to know and love.
