Little Jam Fest Kicks Off in Style at AVA MediterrAegean Coconut Grove

Last night, community leaders, families, and local partners gathered in style for the official Little Jam Fest Kick Off event at AVA Mediterranean ahead of this weekend’s highly anticipated festival at the University of Miami.

The evening brought together supporters of Little Jam Fest for an intimate night of networking, meaningful conversations, and celebration. Guests enjoyed a luxury dining experience featuring exceptional cuisine, elevated hospitality, and extraordinary service in one of Miami’s most beautiful dining destinations.

Hosted in partnership with AVA Mediterranean, Uptown Psychology, Sunset Pediatrics, and Dr. Taryn Dubin, the kickoff event highlighted the strong community support behind Little Jam Fest and its mission of bringing families together through music, creativity, and connection.

Now in its third year, Little Jam Fest by Jam with Jamie returns to the University of Miami Student Center Complex with a full day of live musical entertainment, interactive activities, family-friendly experiences, food, drinks, and performances designed for children and parents to enjoy together.

This year’s lineup includes performances by Jam with Jamie, Sounds Sweet Entertainment, PJ Kids, Hip Hop Kidz, Ayala Royal Ballet School, Little Beats Miami, Mr. J Jams, Josefina & JC, and the TBAM Pop Up Choir. Festival attendees will also experience performances from three young artists selected through the new Uplifting Young Voices initiative: Alexandria Arango, Soleil River Nation, and Izzy & Nikki, along with a surprise performance by Jelijah.

In addition to the live entertainment, families can explore activity zones hosted by local organizations and family-focused brands, enjoy character appearances, hands-on activities for children, and connect with community partners throughout the day.

As excitement builds for the event taking place from 12–6 PM at UM, organizers say the kickoff celebration reflected exactly what Little Jam Fest has become known for across South Florida: community, joy, creativity, and meaningful family connection through music.
