HCA Florida Mercy Hospital Invites Community to 75th Anniversary Mercy Mass this Wednesday
Faith, community and tradition unite on Miami’s waterfront as the 38thannual community celebration returns outdoors on Biscayne Bay this Wednesday at 6 p.m.
HCA Florida Mercy Hospital will host its annual Mercy Mass on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Mercy, the hospital’s patroness. This year’s celebration is especially significant as the hospital marks its 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee.
The Mercy Mass will be celebrated by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Archbishop Thomas G. Wenski, and will include prayers, music, and community gathering in the hospital’s scenic bayside setting. The event underscores the hospital’s Catholic mission of caring for the body, mind, and spirit, and brings together community leaders, elected officials, healthcare providers, and faith partners.
The Mercy Mass is one of South Florida’s most cherished faith and community traditions. This year marks the return of the Mass outdoors on Biscayne Bay—a visually striking and symbolic reminder of Mercy’s legacy and mission.
With more than 500 attendees expected, including civic leaders, clergy, and healthcare colleagues, the event will provide compelling video and interview opportunities highlighting unity, healing, and hope.
