Hello, Coconut Grove!

After more than 45 years of calling Coconut Grove home, I’m delighted to invite my neighbors to something new: Let’s Get Pretty! — a Makeup & Beauty Series designed to help you look and feel your very best.

Our first in-person class takes place Saturday, November 7, at 2:00 PM at the Büro Conference Center in Coconut Grove. Whether you’re just beginning with makeup or want to refresh a familiar routine, we’ll explore how a few thoughtful changes can make a beautiful difference.

We’ll talk about choosing colors that flatter you, understanding where to place makeup for the most attractive effect, selecting the right brushes and tools, and using each one to your best advantage. You’ll also see the opening steps of my unique Humidity-Proof Makeup System — an approach inspired by the challenges of South Florida’s heat and humidity.
Over the years, my work has taken me from New York to Milan and beyond. I was honored to be recognized in Allure magazine for offering one of the best makeup lessons in the USA. Yet the most rewarding part of my work has always been helping someone discover the beauty that’s already there.

This series is also about coming together, asking questions, sharing ideas, and enjoying ourselves. Makeup should enhance who you are — never disguise you.
