The Grove Gets Jazzy in February, Celebrating Art, Jazz, Love, and Local Flavor All Month Long

The community is invited to a jam-packed month in the Grove to celebrate  exceptional art and jazz festivals, Valentine’s Day revelry, local business milestones and much more!!

Coconut Grove is turning up the volume this February, and the Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to support another great month packed with culture, creativity, and community connection. From world-class music and iconic art festivals to Valentine’s Day romance and milestone celebrations by beloved local businesses, there is something for everyone.

The BID is thrilled to support two of Coconut Grove’s most celebrated cultural cornerstones:

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival (CGAF) continues its legacy as one of the nation’s premier outdoor art festivals, transforming the Grove into an open-air gallery filled with inspiring works, dynamic artists, and unforgettable experiences for three entire days, from February 15 – 17. The festival not only celebrates creativity but also drives significant foot traffic to local businesses, restaurants, and shops throughout the neighborhood.

Adding to the rhythm of the month, the Montreux Jazz Festival Miami brings its internationally acclaimed sound to South Florida on February 25 – March 1, blending legendary jazz heritage with Miami’s unmistakable energy. With global artists, intimate performances, and an electric atmosphere, the festival reinforces Coconut Grove’s role as a cultural hub where music, art, and community intersect. Plus, to celebrate, the BID will be hosting surprise secret jam sessions around town in favorites like CocoWalk. To stay informed about the pop-ups, follow @CoconutGroveMiami on Instagram.

“Both of these events bring a lively atmosphere to our beloved neighborhood and we’re so excited to invite locals and tourists to enjoy  such a special season in the Grove,” said Mark Burns, Executive Director of the BID. “Whether you’re strolling through to find some unique art pieces, or you’re enjoying the international jazz scene right here in our backyard, there is something for everyone to love.”

The BID is also excited to spotlight and support major milestones for local favorites:

  • Navi – Celebrating 2 Years
  • Fade Masters of Miami – Celebrating 4 Years

On February 14, Navi and Fade Masters will partner with the Coconut Grove Farmer’s Market to create a vibrant, community-driven activation from 10 AM to 4 PM. The event will feature collaborations with multiple brands, specialty coffee carts, and a Matcha brand partnership, creating a lively atmosphere designed to drive traffic, spark connection, and celebrate local entrepreneurship. This activation is all about community, collaboration, and welcoming residents and visitors alike, reinforcing Coconut Grove as a destination where local businesses thrive and visitors fall in love with South Florida’s culture.

From global festivals to neighborhood celebrations, the BID remains committed to supporting events that uplift local businesses, celebrate the arts, and strengthen the unique spirit of Coconut Grove. February is more than a month of events, but rather it’s a reminder that the Grove is a place where creativity, culture, and community always come together.
