Mimi Yoga Studio, the multi-award-winning infrared heated yoga and Pilates studio in Wynwood, opened a second location in Coconut Grove on September 16, 2024. This expansion, coming just two years after the opening of the first studio, underscores the rapid success of founder Mimi Ghandour’s vision.

“Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for practitioners of all levels and a home for the ever-growing Mimi Yoga Community,” says Ghandour. “Our growth and success has surpassed my wildest dreams, and I am grateful this expansion will allow us to introduce even more people to the life-changing practice of yoga.”

Mimi, an entrepreneur, and certified yoga teacher, has created a space that embodies community, kindness, authenticity, and inclusivity. The new Coconut Grove studio, located at 2829 Bird Ave, Suite 1, Miami, FL 33133, will offer a variety of heated yoga classes, including power, vinyasa, and restorative flows, as well as Yogilates and traditional mat Pilates classes.

Classes are designed for students of all levels, honoring Mimi’s belief that yoga is for the willing. Mimi will teach classes almost daily at Coconut Grove, mesmerizing students with her creative flows, wisdom, strength, and soul-moving mantras she sings while playing her harmonium at the end of class. Mimi and the Studio’s highly trained instructors cater to students’ differences in knowledge and abilities and offer modifications to accommodate everyone.

The new studio maintains Mimi Yoga’s commitment to a luxurious experience and is designed to evoke a sense of tranquility. The Coconut Grove studio features natural elements with a contemporary twist, arches, and mermaid blue-hued tiled accents, and the brand’s signature “Just Show Up” mirror in the reception area, which is sure to become the signature selfie spot just like it has in the Wynwood studio. The reception and retail areas include ample lockers and cubbies for students to store their belongings. There are two restrooms, each with a shower and well-stocked amenities.

The yoga room features two entrances framed by natural wood arches with frosted glass doors. Inside, deep aquamarine floors complement ombre ocean-blue walls, creating a serene atmosphere that allows students to focus on their practice, dive deep, and go within. Like Mimi often says, “Yoga is a work in, not a workout.” Floating arch-shaped LED illuminated mirrors in the space serve the dual purpose of allowing students to check their form while enhancing the vibe. Coconut Grove can accommodate up to 50 people in the practice room.

Students will find mats and towels available for rent, and each class concludes with a complimentary cold towel infused with Mimi Yoga’s signature rose scent placed on students’ foreheads during final resting pose. Pilates props such as Bala bangles, Pilates Rings, Pilates Balls, and more are complimentary for those style classes.

The studio will also serve as a home for Mimi Yoga Teacher Trainings. The first 50-hour Mat Pilates Training with Master Instructor Starr Hawkins will begin on October 19, 2024. Mimi Yoga Teacher Training has graduated more than 400 yoga teachers via its 200-Hour Yoga-Alliance accredited training program.

In 2011, Dr. Viterbo decided to use the same method on patients with prostate cancer. Sixty percent of patients were able to resume normal sexual activity. The other forty percent were able to resume many healthy sexual activities including ejaculation. Therefore, nerve grafts in other fields have led him to this new discovery in the field of men and impotence. Dr. Viterbo uses both general and epidural anesthetics. Full results for the procedure have been seen in one year, and he has seen improved quality of life in 100% of patients.

Dr. Fausto earned completed both General surgery residence and plastic surgery residence, including cosmetic surgery.
